This loft conversion and kitchen extension in Mitcham was completed by Oliver Edwards Developments for a lovely couple expecting their first baby. Working within a strict schedule was a priority. As with all of our projects, we provided a full time site manager, ensuring the project was completed on time.
We commenced the Mitcham loft conversion by completely stripping off the roof coverings and re-tiling with Thrutone slate tiles. Two Velux windows were added to the front roof slope and a stunning floor to ceiling window was installed, letting light flood through the bedroom. The loft conversion was completed with bespoke wardrobes under the front roof slope to utilising the space.
Mitcham’s kitchen extension was constructed with a mono-pitched roof and finished with 2 Integra Velux windows and Thrutone slate tiles, matching the loft conversion. We removed the existing rear wall and replaced it with a box frame steel construction. We then reconfigured the ground floor, providing space for a ground floor cloakroom. We completed the build with full width sliding doors, engineered flooring throughout and a Shaker style kitchen.
